Biography
William Houston is an English actor. He was born on 19 July 1968 in Sussex and raised in Northern Ireland. He trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Houston has performed leading classical roles on stage, including work with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He received an Evening Standard Theatre Award nomination for Best Actor for his performances in Henry IV and Henry V.
His screen credits include Constable Clark in Sherlock Holmes (2009) and its 2011 sequel, Joseph Crackstone in the series Wednesday (2022), and Erikas in The Gorge (2025). He has also appeared in Clash of the Titans (2010), The Last Duel (2021) and Brimstone (2016).
