Biography
William Lucking (also credited as Bill Lucking) was an American actor who appeared in film, television and on stage. Born in Vicksburg, Michigan, he died in Las Vegas on 18 October 2021. He was best known for his role as Piermont 'Piney' Winston in the FX series Sons of Anarchy (2008–2011) and as Colonel Lynch in the first season of The A-Team (1983).
His film credits include The Limey (1999) as Warehouse Foreman, Erin Brockovich (2000), Red Dragon (2002), The Rundown (2003) and Contraband (2012). He also appeared in numerous television series including The X-Files, The Mentalist, Knight Rider and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. A graduate of UCLA and the Pasadena Playhouse, Lucking co-founded the Santa Paula Theater Center.
