Biography
Youssef Kerkour is a Moroccan-British actor born on 9 June 1978 in Rabat, Morocco. He studied at Bard College in the United States and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He spent five years with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Kerkour is best known for playing Syrian refugee Sami in the comedy-drama series Home (2019–2020), a role that earned him a nomination for Best Male Comedy Performance at the 2020 British Academy Television Awards. His film credits include Nemir Kirdar in House of Gucci (2021) and Marshal Davout in Napoleon (2023). He has also appeared in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2026) as Steely Pate.
