Biography

Yuki Matsuzaki is a Japanese actor. Born on 24 September 1981 in Miyazaki, Japan, he began acting at the age of seven in a local children's theatre group and performed in over fifty productions before moving to New York City after high school to pursue an international career.

After arriving in the United States, where he was briefly homeless, Matsuzaki performed on the streets of Times Square before relocating to Los Angeles. He made his film debut in The Last Samurai (2003) and later appeared as Private Nozaki in Clint Eastwood's Letters from Iwo Jima (2006). Subsequent roles include Kenji in The Pink Panther 2 (2009), Garheng in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011), and voice work as Usagi in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series (2012). He has also appeared in television series such as Heroes (2006) and The Man in the High Castle (2015).

Matsuzaki has received acting awards for short films including Othello-san (2018).
