Biography
Yuri Kolokolnikov is a Russian actor of stage and screen, also credited as Yuriy or Yury Kolokolnikov. Born in Moscow in 1980, he trained at the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute and began appearing in Russian films and television in the late 1990s.
In the West he is known for his role as Styr in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2014) and as Gennadi Bystrov in The Americans (2017–2018). His film credits include Volkov in Tenet (2020), Ivan in The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017), roles in Hunter Killer (2018) and 6 Underground (2019), Semyon Chorney in Kraven the Hunter (2024), and Aleksei in Caught Stealing (2025).
