Biography
Yuriko Hoshi (born Yuriko Shimizu) was a Japanese actress. She made her film debut in 1959 and appeared in more than 90 films over six decades, primarily with Toho.
She is known for her roles as Junko Nakanishi in Mothra vs. Godzilla (1964) and Naoko Shindo in Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964). Other notable film credits include The Last War (1961), Chûshingura (1962), Kill! (1968) and Godzilla vs. Megaguirus (2000). Hoshi also worked extensively in television, including NHK taiga dramas. She died in Kyoto on 16 May 2018.
