Biography
Adriano Goldman is a Brazilian cinematographer and occasional director. Born in São Paulo, he began his career in Brazil working in music videos, commercials and television, including directing episodes of series such as City of Men and earning ABC Trophies for cinematography on Filhos do Carnaval and The Year My Parents Went on Vacation.
He gained international recognition for his work on Sin Nombre (2009), which won the Excellence in Cinematography Award at Sundance, and subsequent films including Jane Eyre (2011), August: Osage County (2013) and Burnt (2015). Goldman has served as director of photography on 28 episodes of the Netflix series The Crown (2016–2023) and on six episodes of the Disney+ series Andor (2022). He has received two Primetime Emmy Awards, ASC Awards and a BAFTA for his television work.
