Biography
Aisling Franciosi is an Irish-Italian actress. Born on 6 June 1993 in Dublin, she trained at Trinity College Dublin before leaving to pursue acting.
She first gained recognition for her role as Katie Benedetto in the RTÉ-BBC crime drama The Fall (2013–2016), for which she won an Irish Film and Television Award. She appeared as Lyanna Stark in Game of Thrones (2016–2017) and played the lead role of Clare in the film The Nightingale (2018), winning an AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
Her other film credits include The Unforgivable (2021), The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023), Stopmotion (2024) and Speak No Evil (2024), in which she plays Ciara.
