Biography
Albert Hall is an American actor. Born on 10 November 1937 in Brighton, Alabama, he graduated from the Columbia University School of the Arts in 1971. That year he appeared Off-Broadway in The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel and on Broadway in the musical Ain't Supposed to Die a Natural Death.
Hall portrayed Chief Phillips in the 1979 film Apocalypse Now. He played Baines in Malcolm X (1992), Elijah Muhammad in Ali (2001) and Dr Nichols in National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007). Television credits include recurring roles as Judge Seymore Walsh in Ally McBeal and The Practice, and guest appearances in Grey's Anatomy, 24, ER and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
