Biography
Alisa Lepselter is an American film editor. She graduated from Duke University in 1985 with a degree in art history and began her career in editing as an intern and apprentice on films including Something Wild (1986) and New York Stories (1989). She later worked as an assistant editor on productions such as The Age of Innocence (1993) and several Nora Ephron films.
Her first credit as lead editor was on Walking and Talking (1996). Since Sweet and Lowdown (1999), she has edited every feature film directed by Woody Allen, succeeding Susan E. Morse. Her credits include Match Point (2005), Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), Midnight in Paris (2011), Blue Jasmine (2013) and Café Society (2016). Lepselter received American Cinema Editors Eddie Award nominations for Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Midnight in Paris.
