Biography
Amanda Segel is an American television writer and producer, also credited as Amanda Segel Marks. She began her career on the CBS series Without a Trace (2005–2009), where she worked as a writer, story editor and co-producer. She later wrote an episode of The Good Wife (2010) and served as a producer on the series.
Segel wrote multiple episodes of Person of Interest (2011–2015) and held producing roles including supervising producer and co-executive producer. Her other writing credits include episodes of Nikita (2010), The Player (2015), The Mist (2017), Shooter (2018), Helstrom (2020) and Truth Be Told (2021). She has developed pilots for networks and studios including HBO and has been attached to projects such as a Game of Thrones spin-off.
