Biography
Amber Tamblyn is an American actress. She first came to attention for her role as Emily Quartermaine on the soap opera General Hospital, which she played from 1995 to 2001. She later starred as Joan Girardi in the series Joan of Arcadia (2003–2005), receiving Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for the performance.
Her film roles include Katie Embry in The Ring (2002), Tibby Rollins in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005) and its sequel, Megan McBride in 127 Hours (2010), and a part in Django Unchained (2012). She appeared as Martha M. Masters on the series House (2010–2011). Tamblyn has also worked as a writer and director; her feature directorial debut was Paint It Black (2016). She is married to actor and comedian David Cross.
