Biography
Amy Jump is a British screenwriter, film editor and producer. She is best known for her frequent collaborations with director Ben Wheatley, her husband, on films including Kill List (2011), Sightseers (2012), A Field in England (2013), High-Rise (2015) and Free Fire (2016). She co-wrote and co-edited several of these, and wrote A Field in England and High-Rise alone.
Jump was born in Islington, London, in 1972. She and Wheatley met while studying for their A-levels and began collaborating on short animations before moving into feature films. She received British Independent Film Awards for Best Screenplay for both Kill List and Sightseers.
