Biography
Andrew Schofield, also credited as Drew Schofield, is an English actor and musician. Born in Kirkby, Liverpool, he began his career in the 1970s and is known for his stage work in Liverpool and London, including the Narrator in the original 1983 production of Willy Russell's Blood Brothers.
On screen, Schofield played Johnny Rotten in Sid and Nancy (1986) and appeared in Distant Voices, Still Lives (1988) and Hamlet (1996). His television roles include the title character in Alan Bleasdale's Scully (1984), Peter Grenville in G.B.H. (1991), and further Bleasdale collaborations in Jake's Progress (1995) and Melissa (1997). He received the 2008 Scouseology Award for Theatre.
