Biography
Andy Nicholson is an English production designer. He began his career in the art department in the 1990s and has credits as art director on films including several directed by Tim Burton, such as Sleepy Hollow (1999) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005).
As production designer, his credits include The Host (2013), Gravity (2013), Divergent (2014), Assassin's Creed (2016), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) and Captain Marvel (2019). He also served as production designer on the series Alien: Earth (2025). For his work on Gravity, Nicholson received Academy Award and BAFTA nominations for Best Production Design, and won an Art Directors Guild Award.
