Biography
Ann Lewis Hamilton is an American television writer and producer. She worked as a writer and producer on the series thirtysomething (1987). In 1991 she received two Emmy Award nominations for her work on the show, including Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for the episode "Second Look", and won a Humanitas Prize.
She later served as co-executive producer on Party of Five (1994) and as consulting producer on the first season of Grey's Anatomy (2005), sharing a Writers Guild of America Award for Best New Series. Other credits include writing and producing roles on One Tree Hill (2003), Providence, The Dead Zone (2002) and Haven (2010). She grew up in Staunton, Virginia, in a family with a background in journalism, and published her debut novel Expecting in 2014.
