Biography
Annette Badland is an English actress. She was born on 26 August 1950 in Edgbaston, Birmingham, and trained at the East 15 Acting School in London.
Her television roles include Margaret Blaine in Doctor Who (2005), Mrs Fitzgibbons in the first season of Outlander (2014), Mae Green in Ted Lasso (2020–2026), Ivy Olsson in Heartstopper (2022), and Babe Smith in EastEnders. She has also appeared in The Crown (2016), Skins (2007) and Midsomer Murders (2018–2025).
Badland plays Nanny Bingo in the Channel 4 series Big Boys (2022–2025) and Lou in the 2026 Netflix series Run Away. She is also known for film work including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) and voice roles such as in Valiant (2005).
