Biography
Anthony Hines is a British screenwriter, producer and director. He has worked extensively with Sacha Baron Cohen since the early 2000s, contributing to television series including Da Ali G Show (2000–2004) and Who Is America? (2018).
Hines received screenplay and story credits on the films Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006) and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (2020), as well as on Brüno (2009). He was nominated for an Academy Award for adapted screenplay for the first Borat film. In 2023 he co-wrote and co-directed the comedy Robots with Casper Christensen.
