Biography
Anthony Rapp is an American actor and singer. He made his screen debut in Adventures in Babysitting (1987) and appeared as Tony in Dazed and Confused (1993).
Rapp originated the role of Mark Cohen in the Broadway musical Rent in 1996 and reprised it in the 2005 film adaptation. His other film credits include Twister (1996), Road Trip (2000) and A Beautiful Mind (2001). On television he played Paul Stamets in Star Trek: Discovery (2017–2024).
He began performing as a child and studied at Interlochen Arts Camp. His brother is playwright and filmmaker Adam Rapp.
