Biography

Anthony Redman is a film and television editor, also credited as Tony Redman. He studied at UCLA film school and began his career with an apprenticeship at Universal Studios, later working on the series Kolchak: The Night Stalker (1974–75). He entered independent film through Roger Corman productions, including Thunder and Lightning (1977).

Redman has had a long collaboration with director Abel Ferrara, editing Fear City (1984), King of New York (1990), Bad Lieutenant (1992), Body Snatchers (1993), 4:44 Last Day on Earth (2011) and Welcome to New York (2014). His other credits include Highlander II: The Quickening (1991), Street Fighter (1994), The Crow: City of Angels (1996) and television series such as Battlestar Galactica (2004) and The Strain (2014). He was previously married to Amy Toll.
