Biography
Arthur Weiss (13 June 1912 – 26 August 1980) was an American screenwriter and producer. He was born in New York City and died in Los Angeles.
Weiss wrote episodes of The Fugitive (1963), on which he also served as associate producer, and Mission: Impossible (1966). He wrote the screenplay for the 1963 film Flipper and contributed scripts to series including Mannix, The Time Tunnel, Land of the Giants, Emergency! and Sea Hunt.
He collaborated with producer Irwin Allen on made-for-television disaster films such as Flood! (1976) and Fire! (1977).
