Biography
Aurore Clément is a French actress. Born Marie-Thérèse Aurore Louise Clément on 12 October 1945 in Soissons, Aisne, she began her career as a model in Paris after the death of her father.
She made her film debut in Louis Malle's Lacombe Lucien (1974). Clément is known for her role as Anne in Wim Wenders's Paris, Texas (1984) and as Roxanne Sarrault in Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now (1979; restored in the 2001 Redux version). She has appeared in more than 80 films and television productions, including One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), Marie Antoinette (2006), A Bigger Splash (2015) and The New Girlfriend (2014). She has collaborated frequently with Chantal Akerman and is married to production designer Dean Tavoularis.
