Biography

Axel Geddes is a film editor who has worked at Pixar Animation Studios since 1999. He began as an assistant editor on Toy Story 2 (1999) and progressed through roles including first assistant editor on Finding Nemo (2003) and second film editor on WALL·E (2008) and Toy Story 3 (2010).

Geddes has served as editor on several Pixar projects, including the shorts Hawaiian Vacation (2011) and Partysaurus Rex (2012), the television special Toy Story of Terror! (2013), Finding Dory (2016) and Toy Story 4 (2019). He edited Hoppers (2026). He has received two wins and three nominations for his editing work, including an American Cinema Editors Eddie Award for Toy Story 4.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Geddes studied filmmaking with an emphasis on editing at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
