Biography
Babs Olusanmokun (also credited as Babatunde Olusanmokun) is a Nigerian actor based in the United States. Born on 18 September 1984 in Lagos, Nigeria, he has appeared in film and television since 2004.
He is known for playing Jamis in Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024), Dr Joseph M'Benga in the series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022–present), and Richard Heron in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024). Other credits include Black Mirror (2017), Wrath of Man (2021) and The Night Of (2016).
Olusanmokun is fluent in English, French, Yoruba and Portuguese, and holds a third-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
