Biography

Barney Jordan is a British editor whose credits include the fifth series of Misfits (2013) and the feature film Kill List (2011). He has worked extensively in television, with editing roles on series such as Catastrophe (2015–2019), Sick Note (2017–2018), Year of the Rabbit (2019) and Red Eye (2024).

Jordan graduated from Staffordshire University in Graphic Design and Audio Visual Communication. He began his career as a runner before becoming an editor at the age of 25, initially focusing on graphics and visual effects for commercials and broadcast titles. He later developed skills in VFX and online editing across scripted comedy, drama and documentaries.

In 2004 he received a BAFTA nomination for Best Visual Effects for the documentary George Orwell: A Life in Pictures.
