Biography
Bart Mueller is a costume designer who works as one half of the duo Kurt and Bart, alongside Kurt Swanson. The pair are credited on Babygirl (2024).
Based in New York, Mueller and Swanson began in the 1980s NYC club scene. They created the street fashion line Design Asylum and styled musicians including David Bowie and Britney Spears before moving into film and television costume design.
Their film credits include Dallas Buyers Club (2013), Stoker (2013), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015), Ghost in the Shell (2017), Deadpool 2 (2018), Finch (2021), Black Adam (2022) and The Crow (2024). They have also worked on the series Foundation (2021).
