Biography
Barton Heyman was an American actor. Born in Washington, D.C., he studied theatre arts at the University of California, Los Angeles.
He appeared in films including The Exorcist (1973), Let's Scare Jessica to Death (1971), Cruising (1980), The Secret of My Success (1987), Awakenings (1990), The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Raising Cain (1992), The Basketball Diaries (1995) and Dead Man Walking (1995), in which he played Captain Beliveau. He also worked extensively on stage, with credits in New York Shakespeare Festival productions and on Broadway.
Heyman died in New York City in 1996.
