Biography
Ben Harris is a casting director and executive. He has worked in casting on numerous films and television series, including as casting associate on Sing (2016), Ghostbusters (2016), The Dictator (2012), A Simple Favor (2018), Kubo and the Two Strings (2016), Palm Springs (2020), Daddy's Home (2015), Bombshell (2019), Booksmart (2019) and Daddy's Home 2 (2017).
Harris served as casting director on The Good Place (2016–2020) and other series such as Our Flag Means Death, Space Force and White House Plumbers. He shared a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series for his work on Veep. In 2021 he joined Netflix as head of comedy series casting and was promoted in 2025 to Director of Drama/Comedy Series Casting.
He has also appeared in small acting roles, including as Higgins Student in Ghostbusters (2016) and in episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Office.
