Biography
Benjamín Fernández is a Spanish production designer and art director. Born in Madrid in 1944, he has worked in film since the 1970s.
His credits include production design on True Romance (1993), The Others (2001), Man on Fire (2004) and The Sea Inside (2004). He served as supervising art director on Gladiator (2000) and art director on Alien (1979), Conan the Barbarian (1982), Dune (1984), Rambo III (1988) and Enemy of the State (1998). He has also worked on later projects including Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) and the series El Cid (2020).
