Biography
Bill Groom is an American production designer and art director. He trained at Tulane University and taught at Stony Brook University before entering the industry through work on Saturday Night Live and PBS television productions.
His feature credits include production design on A League of Their Own (1992), Milk (2008) and Eat Pray Love (2010), and art direction on Awakenings (1990). On television he served as production designer for Boardwalk Empire (2010–2014), for which he won four Primetime Emmys, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023).
