Blair Underwood is an American actor. He was born on 25 August 1964 in Tacoma, Washington, and trained at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.

Underwood made his feature film debut in Krush Groove (1985). He is known for his role as attorney Jonathan Rollins in the NBC series L.A. Law (1987–1994), and for appearances in Gattaca (1997), Deep Impact (1998), Full Frontal (2002) as Calvin/Nicholas, and Longlegs (2024) as Agent Carter. He has received Golden Globe Award nominations, several NAACP Image Awards and a Grammy Award.
