Biography
Bob Pauley is a production designer at Pixar Animation Studios. He joined the studio in 1993 as a character designer on Toy Story, contributing the design of Buzz Lightyear. He has served as production designer on Monsters, Inc. (2001), Cars (2006), Toy Story 3 (2010), Toy Story 4 (2019) and Toy Story 5 (2026).
Pauley previously worked in the art department on Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). He studied graphic design at San Jose State University and has collaborated with Walt Disney Imagineering on projects including the design of Cars Land at Disney California Adventure.
