Biography
Brad Sullivan (1931–2008) was an American character actor who worked in film, television and on stage. Born Bradford Ernest Sullivan in Chicago, Illinois, he served in the US Army during the Korean War and attended the University of Maine, where he discovered acting. He made his off-Broadway debut in 1961 and later appeared in the London company of the musical South Pacific.
Sullivan's notable film roles include Cole in The Sting (1973), Morris 'Mo' Wanchuk in Slap Shot (1977), George in The Untouchables (1987), and Henry Wingo in The Prince of Tides (1991). On television he appeared in series including Law & Order, Miami Vice and Nothing Sacred, and he continued stage work into the 1990s.
