Brent Hinkley is an American actor born on 12 April 1962 in East Boston, Massachusetts. He is known for film roles including Officer Murray in The Silence of the Lambs (1991), Rick in Falling Down (1993), Conrad Brooks in Ed Wood (1994) and Jerry in Jacob's Ladder (1990), as well as television appearances such as Lou in an episode of Seinfeld and Brother Andrew in The X-Files.

Hinkley has worked extensively in theatre. He is a co-founder and company member of The Actors' Gang in Los Angeles and has appeared in numerous productions, including seasons at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He has also directed stage works and is married to actress Kate Mulligan.
