Biography

Brett Ratner is an American film director and producer. He was born on 28 March 1969 in Miami Beach, Florida, and graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 1990. He began directing music videos in the 1990s and made his feature debut with Money Talks (1997).

Ratner directed the Rush Hour series (1998, 2001, 2007), The Family Man (2000), Red Dragon (2002), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), Tower Heist (2011), Hercules (2014) and a segment of Movie 43 (2013). He co-founded the production company RatPac Entertainment and has produced or executive produced projects including the Horrible Bosses films and the series Prison Break.

In 2017, numerous women publicly alleged sexual misconduct against Ratner.
