Biography

Brian Berdan is an American film editor. After graduating from UC Berkeley in 1984, he began working in post-production at Lucasfilm and apprenticed on David Lynch's Blue Velvet before taking additional and assistant editing roles on films including Wild at Heart and Noises Off.

Stone gave Berdan his first editing credit on Natural Born Killers (1994). He went on to edit Nixon (1995) and U Turn (1997) for the director, as well as Grosse Pointe Blank (1997), Crank (2006), Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011), The Boy (2016) and Underwater (2020). He received an Emmy nomination for additional editing on the 2017 revival of Twin Peaks.
