Biography
Brian Johnson is a film and television editor. His credits include editing the 1999 documentary Buena Vista Social Club, directed by Wim Wenders.
Earlier in his career he worked as first assistant editor on Lost Highway (1997) and assistant editor on Street Fighter (1994), as well as in the editorial department on Mulholland Drive (2001). He has also edited documentaries and series such as He Named Me Malala (2015) and Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers (2022).
Johnson has received nominations from the American Cinema Editors for Buena Vista Social Club and a Primetime Emmy nomination for He Named Me Malala.
