Biography
Brian Pollack is an American television writer and producer. He began his career writing jokes for game shows, including The Hollywood Squares, before teaming up with Mert Rich in the 1980s.
Pollack wrote for and served as co-producer on Cheers (1989–1991), winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1991. He co-wrote the The Simpsons episode "Helter Shelter" (2002) with Rich, and contributed to series including Sledge Hammer!, Roc, Sister, Sister and The George Carlin Show. He co-created the sitcom Goode Behavior (1996–1997).
