Biography

Brian W. Cook is a British film director, assistant director, producer and actor. He began working in the industry in the 1960s and has credits as assistant director on numerous features, including three Stanley Kubrick productions: Barry Lyndon (1975), The Shining (1980) and Eyes Wide Shut (1999).

Cook served as co-producer on Eyes Wide Shut (1999). In 2005 he made his feature directorial debut with Colour Me Kubrick, a comedy starring John Malkovich. His other producing credits include The Pledge (2001) and Waiting for the Barbarians (2019).
