Biography
Bryan Newton is an American animation director and storyboard artist. He graduated with a BA in Digital Media from Otis College of Art and Design in 2004 and has worked at studios including Cartoon Network, Warner Bros., Disney and Nickelodeon.
Newton directed eight episodes of the Adult Swim series Rick and Morty between 2014 and 2020. He has also directed episodes of Teen Titans Go!, Little Big Awesome, Right Now Kapow and Rugrats (2021), and served as supervising director on Urkel Saves Santa: The Movie! (2023).
His other credits include work as a storyboard artist and animator on series such as The Looney Tunes Show and early contributions to the Rick and Morty pilot.
