Biography
James Siciliano is a writer and producer. He has worked on the animated series Rick and Morty (2013–) since 2015, initially as a writer's assistant and later as a writer and producer. His writing credits on the series include the episodes Rattlestar Ricklactica (2019), Childrick of Mort (2020), Rick & Morty's Thanksploitation Spectacular (2021), Analyze Piss (2022), The Jerrick Trap (2023), Unmortricken (2023), and others through season 9.
He is the co-creator, with Dan Harmon, of the Rick and Morty spin-off series President Curtis (2026), on which he also serves as writer and executive producer. Earlier in his career, Siciliano worked for nearly eight years on South Park in production and digital roles, and he contributed to the video game South Park: The Stick of Truth (2014). He co-authored the book The Art of Rick and Morty with Justin Roiland.
Siciliano has received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program for his work on Rick and Morty, along with additional nominations.
