Biography

C.K. Muraleedharan, also credited as Muraleedharan or Murali, is an Indian cinematographer who works primarily in Hindi films. He graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune in 1987 with a specialisation in cinematography.

Muraleedharan began his career shooting documentaries and has worked on over 100 for Indian channels, the BBC and the National Film Board of Canada. His feature film credits include Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006), Johnny Gaddaar (2007), 3 Idiots (2009), for which he received the IIFA Award for Best Cinematographer, Agent Vinod (2012), PK (2014), for which he received the Fiji International Film Festival award for Best Cinematographer, and Dunki (2023). He has collaborated frequently with directors Rajkumar Hirani and Sriram Raghavan.
