Biography
Carole Scotta is a French film producer, distributor and cinema exhibitor. She founded the independent production and distribution company Haut et Court in 1992 with Laurence Petri and Simon Arnal, and remains its president.
Her production credits include The Class (2008), Coco Before Chanel (2009), The Lobster (2015), The Night of the 12th (2022) and Case 137 (2025). She has also served as executive producer on television series including The Young Pope (2016) and Constellation (2024).
Scotta was appointed Knight of the National Order of Merit in 2012. She is a member of the Collectif 50/50 and has served as a jury member at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.
