Biography
Caroline Benjo is a French film and television producer. She began her career as a film critic, coordinating the magazine Vertigo in the late 1980s and early 1990s. In 1994 she joined the independent production company Haut et Court, founded by Carole Scotta in 1992, and has since directed the company.
Benjo's credits include the Palme d'Or-winning The Class (2008) and Coco Before Chanel (2009), both produced with Haut et Court colleagues. She has also produced The Lobster (2015), The Night of the 12th (2022) and the series The Young Pope (2016) and The New Pope (2020). In 2014 she was appointed Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur.
