Biography

Caroline Eselin is an American costume designer. A native of Pascagoula, Mississippi, she graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1997. She is married to cinematographer Roberto Schaefer.

She is known for her work on Barry Jenkins films, serving as costume designer on Moonlight (2016), If Beale Street Could Talk (2018) and The Underground Railroad (2021). Other credits include Under the Silver Lake (2018), The Hollars (2016), The Girlfriend Experience (2016–2017) and Father of the Bride (2022). She has received multiple Costume Designers Guild Award nominations.
