Biography
Charlie Grandy is an American television writer and producer. He began his career as a stand-up comedian before becoming a writer on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and later Saturday Night Live, where he contributed to Weekend Update.
In 2008 he joined the writing staff of The Office (2005) and rose to supervising producer on the series; he also directed one episode. He has collaborated extensively with Mindy Kaling on The Mindy Project, Champions (which they co-created), Four Weddings and a Funeral and The Sex Lives of College Girls. Grandy created the series Guys With Kids and Velma, and has written for Not Suitable for Work. He won two Primetime Emmy Awards for writing on The Daily Show and Saturday Night Live.
