Biography
Charlie Rowe is an English actor and musician. Born Charlie John Rowe on 23 April 1996 in Islington, London, he began acting as a child and has appeared in films including The Golden Compass (2007) as Billy Costa, The Boat That Rocked (2009) as James, Never Let Me Go (2010) as Young Tommy and Rocketman (2019) as Ray Williams.
On television he has played Leo Roth in Red Band Society (2014–2015), Liam Cole in Salvation (2017–2018), Ben Dunn in Slow Horses (2022–2023) and Gregory Cromwell in Wolf Hall (2015; sequel series). He played Miki in the 2025 film The Yellow Tie.
Rowe is the son of actor and writer Chris Rowe and drama teacher Sara Rowe, and the nephew of actress Claire Price.
