Biography
Cherie Nowlan is an Australian film and television director. Born in Singleton, New South Wales, she studied scriptwriting at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and began her career working as a production assistant, researcher and writer for production companies including Kennedy Miller.
Her early work includes the documentary God's Girls (1991) and the feature films Thank God He Met Lizzie (1997) and Clubland (2007). She has directed numerous Australian television series and, from the early 2010s, episodes of US series including Grey's Anatomy (2013), Gossip Girl, Suits, The Good Doctor, You and Riverdale.
