Biography
Chris Kennedy is an Australian production designer. He studied at Swinburne and began working in the art department on Australian films before becoming a production designer.
He is known for his work on films including The Proposition (2005), The Road (2009), Lawless (2012), The Water Diviner (2014) and Lion (2016). Kennedy has collaborated frequently with director John Hillcoat. For Lion he received the AACTA Award for Best Production Design and a nomination for the Art Directors Guild Award.
Kennedy is a multiple winner of Australian film awards, including the Byron Kennedy Award in 2005.
