Biography

Chris Morgan is an American screenwriter and producer. He wrote the screenplay for Red One (2024) and co-wrote Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023).

Morgan is best known for his work on the Fast & Furious franchise, writing or co-writing The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Fast & Furious (2009), Fast Five (2011), Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017) and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019). His other writing credits include Wanted (2008), 47 Ronin (2013) and Cellular (2004). He has also produced several films, including Red One and entries in the Fast & Furious series.

His production company, Chris Morgan Productions, signed a first-look deal with Universal Pictures in 2011. In 2013 he launched a television production company with a first-look deal at Fox.
